Both Mohammad and Jesus were uncompromising. In the monotheistic traditions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, love and service of others are often given equal status with love and service of God. In Buddhism, compassion is seen as an inherent aspect of our nature. Both ancient wisdom and modern psychology agree that the desire to help and the pleasure it brings grow as we grow.
